Sport opens
the door.
Sport is SIYA's principal development vehicle. Basketball is where our story began and remains a major area of action. Our charitable reach stays flexible enough to support other youth and other mission-aligned developmental opportunities.
SUPPORT MAY INCLUDE
Equipment
Uniforms, safety gear, supplies, and resources needed to participate and develop.
Programs
Facilities, officials, permits, insurance, and other approved program costs.
Development
Travel, coaching, camps, mentorship, wellness, and approved learning experiences.
Support may benefit teams, schools, leagues, organizations, programs, and approved individual or group opportunities. Basketball is a major focus, not SIYA's legal limit.

The name has a personal connection to the Zimmer family. The Foundation's purpose extends far beyond one family, one team, or one program.
